Hi! So you've been wondering who's behind the name Jane ? I'm a 29-year-old wife to my wonderful Joe,

I'm Mrs. J. I'm also a Catholic, the oldest daughter of my awesome parents and the only sister of their youngest child. And since very recently I'm also a mom of a very special baby boy Peter.

 

I've been lucky enough to travel the world a bit. I spent wonderful years in a rental apartment just outside of Boston, MA which was actually the first place I could call mine after graduating college. Boston is also the place where Joe and I first met, fell in love and where we decided to spend the rest of our lives together:) But since our hearts were still in our homeland in Europe, 2 years ago we decided to relocate back home, closer to our families.

 

From the time I spent in Massachusetts, I brought back one dream of once living in my favorite MA town - Wayland. Since that doesn't seem to be coming true anytime soon, I decided that Wayland's gonna be anywhere we are. That's why I started calling our home Wayland Heights. (And that's why a section of my blog is called Life at Wayland Heights.)

 

What else you need to know about me? I google, and decorate, and furnish, and re-decorate... I love making a place my own. And my Joe is helping to keep it on budget :) Next thing about me - I've always loved cooking but started enjoying it especially when I began to cook for my Joe. It's been often challenging, mostly because I am a meat lover and Joe decided to be a vegetarian - an episode of his life that lasted for over 3 years (fortunately he's done with that for now). 

 

Some technical information - I shoot most of the photos for this blog with Canon EOS Rebel T2i using the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS and EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III lenses.

I am also editing the pictures using iPhoto and PicMonkey.com.
