1. can't get out of the house!

Oh, how happy I am that January's over. I've been sick ever since Christmas up until two weeks ago. It was the total of over a month spent between work and bed. I got a terrible cold which I couldn't get rid off of for soooo long it made me crazy. Mostly, I missed the long walks Joe and I love, oh, and the sunshine! Not cool being sick for this long, I tell you.

Fortunately, I'm good now, and this last weekend was finally one of those I love - long downtown walk, ice c...

September 30, 2017

Ever since the beginning of September, even though the weather was still nice and summery (if that's a word), I started looking forward to fall. Fall used to be a beautiful season around Boston!

Unfortunately, around here we get way too many rainy days for my taste. I'm really gonna miss the beautiful Boston weather!  Since I knew the rainy days are coming, I decided to make the season better by incorporating few of my favorite fall activities into our everyday schedules....

1. affected for life

This summer's been really special. Did you see this post in which I write about us moving back to Europe? That was a big thing for us. But just in case that doesn't seem special enough, we also decided to boost it up a bit and put it together with us getting married!!

Yes, the third Saturday in August was our day! The day was perfect and we really enjoyed it. Actually, I still keep thinking of how special it felt. It was totally different from any wedding experience I had befor...

1. recipe of the month - fast food, babe!

Because we had a lot of work this April! It's not like we ate fast food every single day, but it was way more then usually (usually is close to zero for us though, so more than that is not that difficult to achieve). Aaaand the winner is    >> Five Guys << . I love their hamburgers! I'm pretty sure those will be my biggest craving when I'll be pregnant one day.

2. busy, busy April

What were you doing that you were so busy, you ask? Well....

I suppose the planning stage is what we're living in at the moment :) The changes are coming soon, but let's pause for a moment and just have a quick read of the summary of my last couple months to check out my new additions to Easter decor and find out why May's going to be fun!

Nice recipe cards was always something I liked on food blogs. I love the idea of having a recipe all summarized in one place, framed, and ready to print or save. Fortunately, I was able to figure this out for my blog as well and ... ta-da! ... Jane's LITTLE Loves now have downloadable recipe cards! I'll be updating all the older recipes as well so by the time you check they might be already there. I'm so excited about this change that I just had to write an entire blog post about it! Please let m...

October 7, 2016

October is here so I figured out it's just about the right time for some fall decor ideas. Are you guys ready for one of my small DIY projects?

Living in a rental apartment often means you are limited to decorating only inside. This was the case for me ever since I moved into an apartment in a multi-family house. I really wanted to add some touches to the outside but the only thing I could work with was the door wreath. I spent hours on pinterest looking for some ideas until I figur...

Updated September 28, 2016:

My go-to fall outfit was featured on Simple Moments Stick today! If you're looking for fall outfit ideas make sure to check this post with over 25 bloggers sharing their fall wardrobe inspirations.

Unfortunately for some of us - the summer is over, at least here in Boston. If that's the case where you live, you've probably started thinking of new outfit ideas for the coming season. I loved that during summer all I needed was a pair of shorts, nice top, and flip-flops. Or...

September 6, 2016

Since June 2016 the summer around here was totally different then ever before. During my many months of living in Boston, every day after work I was home alone, sometimes bored, sometimes busy, always trying to do something useful with my long evenings. It worked this way until my Joe changed his job. Free time now equals so much more then just sitting at home by myself! Thanks to these new circumstances we had a wonderful summer and really enjoyed the time we spent together.

1. traveling home to Europe and my sister's wedding

Traveling home at the beginning of May was absolutely awesome (even though it's one of the reasons I didn't post anything on the blog for so long). My trip was very strictly planned around my sister's wedding and I could only take 7 working days off from work so it was really busy and mostly planned down to hours.

Naturally, the wedding was wonderful, my sister was a beautiful bride and everyone had a great time celebrating their marriage. I just...
